Help Support Your Neighbor
Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network is a nonprofit, volunteer organization that rescues and rehabilitates injured and orphaned birds, mammals, and reptiles right here in Santa Barbara County.
We are licensed by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, as well as the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.
A History of Dedicated Service
Since 1986, Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network has given thousands of animals a second chance at life. Making it one of the most well established non-profit animal rescue facilities in Southern California.
We have worked hard to maintain a long-standing presence in our local community over the past 30 years, but we could not have done it alone. We depend on the support of the whole community to keep our engine running.
Your Dollars at Work
Our only source of support is donations – from individuals, businesses, corporations, and philanthropic foundations. Your financial support can help us to continue to make a difference.
We welcome any and all contributions to help us to cover the costs of food and medicine for the droves of injured and orphaned birds, mammals and reptiles that show up at our doors all throughout the year.
Education is Key
At Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network, we consider education an important part of our mission. The SBWCN Education Outreach Committee meets regularly to improve and expand its reach in the community.
We are committed to helping the public live peacefully with wild animals. We continue to share our knowledge and passion with various community groups, clubs, class rooms and senior living centers.
